Tooling and Parts for Sale for 1910 Nostalgia Runabout 1/2 Scale Car
This half scale car attracted an unusual amount of publicity. It appeared on New York's TV channel 5 news program and stole 20% of the audience from the Carol Burnett show that was on at the same time.It was able to obtain an unlimited amount of publicity without cost.
It's production was stopped back in 1977 because we were unable to get product liability, because the Ford Pinto had a problem with an exploding gas tank. Today this would not be a problem because the car could be sold as a Kit where the customer would install the windshield and put the wheels on. We might make the cars without engines, etc for nostalgia displays in restaurants, if we found someone to market them. It also is an opportunity to buy the tooling and parts and start a new product line at extreme low cost.
The car can have 1001 uses when equipped with simple carts. It can be used in Summer Resorts carrying passengers and their luggage on narrow pathways.
The selling price can be gotten back if one car is sold. With 80% of the parts available for approximately 8 cars, and tooling that would cost $100,000 today, it is the biggest bargain, and will not be around long.
