Model 602 Low Air Pressure/Vacuum Alarm for Ventilated Areas and Clean Rooms

This new product has features that are very similar to smoke alarms, when the pressure or vacuum falls below a set point a loud audible alarm is activated. The unit operates on a single 9 volt battery and requires no power when the pressure or vacuum is above the set point. When battery is low, intermittent beep will sound. Unit can also be operated from a wall outlet transformer. The Model 602 can be installed with minimum effort requiring no electrical connection. All that is necessary is to drill a 1/4" hole in a vertical wall to obtain a reference pressure source. Then fasten the unit to the wall with 4 screws, and set the unit to actuate when the source of air is blocked temporarally with a piece of cardboard to lower the pressure or vacuum.

The Model 602 is excellent for monitoring the pressurization of clean rooms and ventilated areas. It will detect dirty air filters and failure of blower motors.
