This Model 171D8WC-S has an extended range in a single switch of 0.05" to 8" W C., which eliminates stocking three or more switches of other manufacturers to cover the same range.

It can be used in unusually harsh environments for it is sealed, waterproof, dustproof, oil tight and ready for outdoor use. Epoxy finish is acid resistant. Units meet Navy Shock test MIL-901D, Vibration and post-vibration testing per MIL-STD-167-1 Type 1.

Units can be supplied for 120-480 volts AC and for 75 volts DC. and is excellent for use on ships, locomotives, and in earth moving equipment, sewage plants, chemical plants, heavy industrial use, and applications subject to unusually harsh environments.
